We've
built a solid reputation as one of the top tomato repackers
on the East Coast. All of our tomatoes are repacked
by the soft, caring, trained hands of our employees.
After
protecting the cold
chain throughout transport, we allow the tomatoes
to ripen naturally under ideal temperatures. Then we
put the tomatoes through a chlorination process, where
they are washed to kill all bacteria. We dry the tomatoes
completely, then grade them.
Tomato
varieties and grades
We're painstakingly precise. It takes a special tomato
to make our premium, #1 grade, which we call "Sophia".
We take special care of them with formed packing shelves
that provide each tomato with a cradle of protection.
So when you are ready to serve them, they are consistently
unblemished, plump, succulent and tasty. We offer Sophias
in 4x5, 5x6 and 6x6 sizes.
You
can buy our Bulk #1 tomatoes (extra-large, large or
medium) in 25-pound boxes. We also sell a food service
grade.
The
same special care is taken with our vine-ripe, plum,
cherry and grape cherry tomatoes. They're inspected
closely one pint at a time and packed
with the utmost care.
We
go to great lengths to protect the quality of our tomatoes.
