As a leading distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables, we are committed to providing high-quality produce to our valued customers. We are currently hiring Class B CDL Delivery Drivers and Non CDL drivers.

Position Summary: As a Class B Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of produce to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to operate a commercial vehicle and transport produce from our distribution center to designated delivery locations, including restaurants, grocery stores, and other retail establishments.

Position requirements:

• Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Must have valid CDL issued by the state of legal residence
• Minimum of 6 months commercial driving experience and a clean driving record
• Must have a proven record of reliability and good attendance
• Must exhibit strong customer service skills
• Safely and efficiently operate a Class B commercial vehicle
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations
• Load/unload produce onto the delivery truck, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transit.
• Use of a pallet jack or hand truck may be required
• Verify accuracy and completeness of delivery orders before departure, matching them with appropriate invoices or delivery documents
• Plan and organize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and ensure on-time deliveries
• Maintain a clean and well-organized delivery vehicle
• Conduct routine inspections and report all maintenance or repair needs promptly
• Provide exceptional customer service with prompt, professional & courteous delivery
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper temperature control during transportation to preserve the quality and freshness of the produce
• Comply with company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, driving regulations, and professional conduct
• Communicate delivery & customer issues to the Supervisor or Manager promptly

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 50 lbs
• Must be comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions
