Orange markets are steady with good supplies. Quality is good.

Lemon markets are still up out West. We have started Import Lemons on 115, 140 and 165ct choice fruit. Quality is good.

Lime Demand was lower last week but looks to be back up as retailers get past the post-holiday slow down. The markets have eased off some the last two days and seem to have leveled off. Temperatures remain in the upper 90’s with high humidity, which is causing additional shrink at the grower/packer level. There is more skin breakdown and stylar being reported that is making shippers run the product that is coming into the US before shipping. Sizing continues to be heavy on the 175/200/230cts with limited supplies on the 110/150 and 250ct sizes. The next new crop of limes is expected to start around the first week of August. If the lack of rain and heat continues, we may see a down shift in the sizing in August, with the 200/230/250ct sizes being the bulk of the supplies on the new crop. Old crop limes will continue to supply most of the larger 175/150/110ct sizes into August.
